I specialize in working with those who have obtained conventional definitions of success, yet feel there is something amiss. My clients tend to be brilliant, intense, high-achieving people who now want to play bigger but play differently. They sense that in some way they’re not realizing their potential: the behaviors and mindsets that got them to one milestone don’t seem to work for the next. This could look like an overstretched tech CEO learning how to stop overfunctioning, an engineer needing focus or renewal, or a founder seeking greater agility and confidence in building toward their vision. In each case, they want an outer change that usually requires an inner change.

I partner with them to surface the hidden “blueprint” of how they currently operate, identify what’s not working, and create the conditions and accountability for them to evolve. This takes time, like upgrading an outdated operating system. It usually results in more conviction in how they lead themselves and others, more confidence in decisions, more flow and ease in the day-to-day, and a greater sense of freedom, aliveness, and fulfillment. Most importantly, they discover what they are truly capable of and act on it.

Working with me is having a root-level partnership where you can be your most courageous and powerful self. I’m not an expert in your line of work. Instead I aim to be a rigorous and fearless student of you, so that you can recognize the teacher within yourself.

About Me

I choose truth over comfort. That got me in trouble as a kid. I questioned everything and refused to settle — for the status quo, the surface-level answer, or for who I was told to be. So, perhaps unsurprisingly, my professional path has been a series of climbing peaks, only to realize they weren’t the mountain I ultimately wanted to be on. I learned a lot along the way and (I hope) had a net positive impact. In retrospect, I had been pursuing a local maximum. And yet I wouldn’t change any of it.

I coach because it’s the most meaningful way I’ve found to use my natural gifts. I’m obsessed with the craft of coaching. Most of all, it’s fun.

I earned my bachelor’s from Princeton and my law degree from Harvard. Over the last 20 years, I’ve worked as a management consultant, intellectual property litigator, software engineer, and talent leader. I’m based in the Bay Area, where I live with my husband and daughter.
